THE MISSION
Within my first few months at Venture International, I made it my mission to update the company to modern standards of consulting firms of the same scale. For me, this meant creating a website that provides a sense of professionalism, personality, and community building that VI stands for. I built the website using the backbones of Squarespace and their web-building software. I experimented with other website-building tools such as Wix, WordPress, and Shopify. The website is also beautifully translated into a mobile version with ease, allowing users to have a seamless experience visiting the site.
ENGAGEMENT PROCESS
My first step was creating a landing page that draws in a visitor’s eyes with modern visuals and an exciting video I spliced together. Because this will be the first page anyone sees for the site, I took careful consideration to curate one to create maximum engagement. From there, I streamlined the VI “About” section and removed outdated and unnecessary web pages. Because these are the most visited sections (according to my Google Analytics), I designed each page with an exciting style while keeping the VI brand alive.
Every web page was reworked from the ground up, where I added custom icons, new graphics, and re-wrote descriptions for all the products and services VI offers.
